United Arab Emirates

UAE
When you are planning a trip to the UAE, check whether you need to apply for a visa and whether your passport is valid for the required period. With respect to holders of non-standard passports and travel documents, other entry rules may apply. Find out if you need to apply for a visa or meet other requirements.

Beginning April 29, 2016, passengers who have a residence permit in the States members of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries must apply for a UAE visa before arriving in Dubai.

Beginning May 1, 2017, citizens of India with a standard passport valid for at least six months from the date of arrival, as well as with a guest visa or a US green card valid for at least six months, can receive on arrival a UAE visa for a period of up to 14 days for 120 United Arab Emirates dirhams (amount may vary). They can also apply for an extension of their stay in the country for another 14 days.

Visa registration in the UAE can be entrusted to specialists or deal with this issue independently. It is worth noting that obtaining a visa has a number of features, and more precisely, restrictions for citizens younger than 30 years. So, for example, documents of citizens, both women and men, who at the time of opening a visa did not reach 30 years of age, are considered more strictly at the consulate. In addition to the above documents, women under 30 years of age and traveling without a husband must submit a marriage certificate to the consulate. In addition, if such a woman provides booking confirmation at a 2 * or 3 * hotel, she needs to make a deposit in the amount of $ 1,500, which will be withdrawn as a fine if this woman does not leave the country within the prescribed period, that is, the expiration date.

In terms of a visa is issued from 2 to 5 working days, but it is worth considering, a citizen of the Arab states days off are Friday and Saturday, while we have Saturday and Sunday.

Student Visa

A Student Visa is for a university or a college student studying in the UAE. It is issued to expatriate students who are residing in the UAE under the sponsorship of their parents or relatives or to international students who come from abroad to join one of the higher educational institutes in the UAE.

Tourist Visa

A Tourist Visa is for those who are not eligible for visa on arrival or visa-free entry to the UAE. Tourist visas can be obtained for eligible individual tourists from around the world. Females below the age of 18 are not eligible to apply for this type of visa unless they are travelling with their parents.

Depending on your plan, tourist visas to the UAE can be issued for 30 days or 90 days duration, single entry, or multiple entry. A tourist visa is not extendable.

The UAE embassies do not issue tourist visas. In order to get a tourist visa to the UAE, you need to get in touch with one of the UAE-based airlines, a tour agency, or a prospective hotel in the UAE who will apply for the visa on your behalf to the official visa-issuing authorities in the UAE.

Requirements

If you are planning to stay in the UAE for more than three months then your documents and passports should be valid for at least three months from the date of access. If your stay is going to exceed that time frame then the validity period should be a least six months.

Minors don’t need to possess passports of their own since they are registered on their parent or guardian’s passport. The passport has to carry the child’s photo and the child must travel with their parent or guardian.

If you possess a normal passport then you can obtain a visit/tourist visa that is valid for 30 days maximum. If you are expecting to extend your stay then you must apply for a visit extension at least two days before the expiration of your UAE visa. You can extend your visit for up to another 30 days.
